That a company able to acquire advantages globally, thus the company must be able to accomplish every work better in term of producing high quality goods and services with reasonable and competitive quality. One of methods to measure and improve performances of a company is by means of Malcolm Baldrige.
On this final assignment, assessment was consummated on performances of PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama by means of reference Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama was one of companies engaged in distribution of fence, wire mesh and nails in Indonesia. PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama have never done the overall performance measurement before, the performance measurement in PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama is only limited to just the financial side. Expected output of this research is the condition of the company's performance at this present moment so that companies can find out the current position and can make improvements to the company's progress.
Based on analysis and assessment on performances of PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama by means Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award that had been performed by the writer, the company attained a value of 484. The value accounted about 48,53% of the obtainable total points are 1000. That is why PT. Pratama Prima Bajatama could be categorized company under a condition of “Good Performance”. This condition illustrates that the organization already has a systematic approach, effective, responsive to the requirements of the item in some parts of the company, deployment varies and in some areas or work units, so the results are owned by the organization is still in early stages of development in various areas important.
