Abstract
Modern times, as now, knowledge is essential in supporting various aspects of life, especially in the working world. Knowledge is the result of the "Know" and it occurred after the conduct of a particular object sensing. Every person has the knowledge that they can not share and express to others. That knowledge is called tacit knowledge. To be able to know the tacit knowledge contained in each individual, it needs measurement. Measurement of individual tacit knowledge select the object on the division of HRD CV X. CV X is a construction services company engaged in the following areas: Land Clearing (Stacking, Main Road, Collection Road, Trench, etc.), Heavy Equipment Rental (Excavator, Vibro, Dozers, Dump Truck), and General Trading. The reason for having chosen HRD division is they have strongest relevance to the existing human resources. In process, HRD always meet with a variety of human character that they have to learn the person's knowledge as to where. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the measurement of individual tacit knowledge. Instrument that used is questionnaire with PLS (Partial Least Square). PLS able to identify the correlation and influence between indicators from tacit knowledge. The results of this research (case study) shows that there are indicators which have a bad validity and reliability because a lot of indicators don’t have correlation and influence with their construct. This result indicates that the tacit knowledge of every individual in the company needs to be considered by the company to achive its optimum competitive advantage.
