As one of the biggest pillar of economic in Indonesia, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) have a unique characteristic where environment uncertainty and internal limitation are variables taking roles within. The referred circumstances are directed through the process of strategic decision making which will determine SME’s sustainability. Regarding the past researches, there are two approaches in decision making, which are rationality and intuition. In fact, there is time limitation and in the other hand there are too many factors that have to be analyzed in strategic decision making, thus creating a trend on the enterprise owner to start developing their intuition process in decision making because of its flexibility. This research is done at four type of industries in Yogyakarta, Central Java with the main aim to identify the relationship happening between environment uncertainty against strategic intuitive decision making and the impact to SME’s performance where data are processed with Partial Least Square based(PLS) SEM approach. The result shows that there is no causality relationship going on between environment uncertainty against strategic intuitive decision making, and the same result with strategic intuitive decision making against SME’s performance. |
