| Breast milk is considered as the best food for babies. When the mother does not breast feed the baby, usually the food intake is replaced by giving the baby formula milk. Therefore, making formula milk for infant requires the fastest amount of time it is possible to be done. Unfortunately, in a short amount of time, the mother is forgetting some of the important things. For example the right amount of dose to put to the formula and the right temperature the milk on serving. Up to now, the conventional way through several stages of making formula milk for infant is still done by most mothers. After gathering some information based on research and study, a main problem has been found that there is a major pain coming from mothers in making infant formula. The cause of the problem are coming from the idea that consumers are not used to making infant formula, the technique that is used, the haste on making infant formula, the time the mothers usually make the formula milk, which is at night, and so on. It roots to problems such as the formula milk made is usually in a poor-quality condition mainly because the milk is made not in accordance with the dose. In addition taking a long time in the process can cause the babies starve. To prevent these issues, we need a new tool and concept for making a formula milk, especially for the infants. In designing a new device concept, several criterion are important to be considered, such as the degree of importance to consumers' needs and the level of customer satisfaction with the formula which all have been currently summarized in the HOQ. For concept development it has been done by using TRIZ methods. TRIZ method consists of several stages. The first thing that is should be done is the identification of the tools that commonly used these days and the problems arising by using the tool. This can be done using the ISQ (Innovation Situation Questionnaire). Next, to connect the problems or issues raised by using single diagram which is called The Formulation Diagram of Problems. Contradiction may occurs at this stage if the system development provides the adverse effect of a system to the other system. Next, by using contradiction table, the contradiction shall be solved as it gathers principles for problem solving. Based on these principles, the idea can be collected which then being incorporated into a single device or tool using the morphological chart. The best concept alternatives are then choosen by using Pugh's concept selection. In this study, it has been found that the best concept of making formula milk for infant is by automatically done in concept 4, so that the level of convenience and the quality are increase from the current-conventional process. |
