It is feared that we are adding another list of potential problems to this already heavy burden by damaging the natural environment through a multitude of interventions, such as injecting greenhouse gases or azone-depleting species in their natural habitat (even as transgenic varieties are created in the laboratory), and accumulating nuclear weapons that could destory human civillization.
