Abstract
This study demonstrates the way in which students, lecturers, and destination marketing organisations (DMOs) can cooperate for destination marketing and tourism education by using the podcast. In the study, students collaborated with DMOs to produce tourism podcasts for destination marketing using a classroom environment. By carrying out different roles, students and DMOs had not only hands-on experience in using and making podcasts, but also an opportunity to build working relationships with each other. Based on the evaluation of the complete podcasts, several problems (e.g., copyright issues, technical support) and suggestions for a better design of the podcast project are discussed.
