The Ann Arbor Conference on postdoctoral training (held in October 1992) was the first national conference to focus on the articulation c1 standards for postdoctoral education and training in professional psychology. Expert in education, practice. and credentialing drafted a policy document addressing the purposes of postdoctoral training; entrance requirements; program content, structure, and organization; supervision; faculty-staff; evaluation mechanisms; and recommendations for the promotion of excellence.
