Isi artikelSeveral recent publications have noted the lack of emphasis placed on psychological measurement in graduate training. The resulting knowledge and skill deficit hinders psychology's advancement as a science and is evident by poor measurement-reporting practices found in psychology journals. Given recent progress in Theory and methods, the lack of attention to measurement issues is all the more surprising.
