Abstract
There are plenty of coal as a natural resources in Indonesia, which could supply electric energy until a hundred years later. The use of coal to be an usefull energy named coal gasification process. The study was conducted to analyze the influence of fire brick’s thick to outside temperature from coal gasifier device. Calculation was done with finnite-difference heat transfer equation for transient conduction 1 dimension. The result of data experiment shows that the thicker the fire brick is, the lower the outside tempearature was. The biggest error between calculation and experiment are 15.76% for 5 cm thick, 4.73% for 10 cm, and 6.82% for 15 cm thick.
