Abstract
Designed and built energy saver device by utilizing vertical axis wind turbine rotor mechanical energy turns to electricity energy which can be saved and used directly without having overcharge and undercharge to battery. The wind turbine rotor mechanical energy is converted by transmission system through transmission shaft turns to wind turbine shaft mechanical energy to produce minimum rotation to alternator about 600 rpm. The alternator will convert the wind turbine shaft mechanical energy turns to electrical energy tha t can be saved condition of normal deviation energy of battery at voltage of 12 Volt to 12.6 Volt. Microcontroller is as control of battery condition when has overcharge at voltage of 12.7 Volt and undercharge at voltage of 11.8 Volt. From the result of experiment, the wind turbine rotor mechanical energy can be converted by gearbox transmission system through transsnission shaft in producing minimum rotation to alternator. It is about 604 rpm at 6.5 of meters per second. At rotation 604 rpm, the alternator produces electrical energy that can be saved by the battery. Microcontroller can operate when has overcharge at voltage of 12.7 Volt and undercharge at voltage of 11.8 Volt.
