Abstract
Nowadays, number of motor vehicles increased every year that impact on upgrade consumption of fuel oil while the reserves oil slender. There’s an effort to avoiding dependency on fuel oil, then utilized an alternative energy is fuel gas for the transportation sector. The fuel gas namely LPG, vehicles must be added a tool that is converter kit for used LPG. Final assignment research has a purpose to determine the influence of using LPG to Engine performance and exhaust emissions on the Otto Engine by comparing power/energy, torque, spesific fuel consumption and exhaust emissions with fuel oil and LPG. Torque decreased as much 4.37% happend, power decreased as much 2.18%, and spesific fuel consumption increased as much 3.43%. Level of CO dan HC tend to be higher because of mixing air and fuel is not appropriate.
