At this moment, the industrial of banana chips is a potential business that many businessman in Indonesia looking forward. However, in the manufacturing process is still done manually and cause the results obtained are less than the maximum. In other hand, the injury often occurs in its labor by the process of making this manually. One of the way out that can be done to reduce these things is to do a change of working system that work manually (human labor) into a system of automatic machines. In this thesis, the controlling system of prototype banana chips maker device will be designed with automatic system that are controlled by PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). In designing the prototype of this banana chips maker, a discussion covering the calculation of pneumatic cylinders, power motor is used, and electricpneumatic circuits to run all systems. Thus, the process to be adapted into an automatic control system is the cutting, removal, and frying bananas up into banana chips. |
