This research aims to create a mathematical model of linear regression for the proportion of body standing position to gain a one dimension human body with body dimension in accordance with the others of similar proportions of each human body to children. Anthropometry data research are static anthropometry data with a variable number of 18 dimensions which is an anthropometry in the standing position in which body height as a reference. Anthropometry data was collected by using anthroscan instrument that are in the human factors-ergonomics center laboratory, University of Indonesia. The total samples are 263 children who have age range between 7 – 12 years which consists of 140 boys and 123 girls. Research data is processed by Minitab 15 software. The mathematical models are created by using linear regression analysis. In mathematical model of linear regression was used two variables, the independent variable (x) and the dependent variable (y). Height is an independent variable and 17 other dimensions in the standing position is the dependent variable. The general equation on mathematical model is y = a + b x. Based on the results, there are 200 a linear regression model. However, after the validation of the models, there are seven linear regression models are not valid so that a linear regression model that can be used are 193 models. |
