| CV. Central Castelindo Abadi is one of manufacturing company which produce furnitures products. At this time, this company has problems in raw material department. The problem is about planning and controlling raw material inventory at this company because procurment of material based on feelings. The availablity of raw material become a problem in production proses because of unavailable raw material The unavailability of raw material can affect the image of company because the production process will be stuck. As the result the finished product will be delivered late to the customers. This company need make a system which can plan dan control the procurement of raw material so, this problem can be minimalized. In this thesis, divided into three stages.There are demand forecast, planning and controlling the inventory of raw material.First of all, pattern of demand history is considered into two patterns; reguler and lumpy. Regulered pattern is calculated with Single exponential smoothing and moving average. In other hand, lumpy pattern is calculated with Croston method. The results of the forecast demand will be an input for planning and controlling inventory. Planning and controlling is done with Continous Review Model. This model calculates economic order quantity, reorder point and safety stock for every single materials. For every ordered quantity is considered by available stock in company's storage. So, every material won't be ordered. This thesis makes a continous software from three stages where this software can report the stock availability of each materials. |
