The Nutcandle Cracker that has existed until today is not being used optimally in terms of function or production. Until today there are only two types of Nutcandle Cracker , the traditional and the press machine. Both of these tools are good as a whole, that is why there is a design of a new Nutcandle Cracker that combines simplicity and practicality from both of the tools that currently existed. From the development of the new Nutcandle Cracker is being perceived that there is also some shortage or in other words, it is has not been fully successful. Thus, an experimental design is done to the components that is being designed for the new Nutcandle Cracker. The aim of this experimental design is to maximise the whole value of this new Candlenut Cracker. This research is a phase of the experimental design of the new Candlenut Cracker by using length variable thrower, material type thrower, and distance thrower against the bearing. To get maximum results, a few experiment has been done for these three variables. Experimental design towards these tools was done based on sages from subject TKI-323 and refer to a book entitled “Fundamental Concept in the Design of Experiment” by author Hicks, C.R and Kenneth V.T.Jr. With this trial of experimental design is hoped to support this new Nutcandle Cracker to have better performance in production field. |
