Abstract
Today, the fast development in the industry has stimulated a very tight competition amongst companies. It’s need a product that have a high value, not only from the product quality but also from competitive price. For achieving this situation, a good corporate planning is all the company’s need. Every company dedicates its efforts to satisfy customers and tries to expand its capacity. The kind of implementation theory which is used for this, are by using one-sided line balancing and two-sided line balancing. On one-sided line balancing, we used RPW, LCR, and J-Wagon method. On other way, two sided line balancing used an Ant Colony Algorithm by helped of Application program. ) From the result of the simulation using Pro-Model software. Because of that the balancing result using algorithm genetic ant colony method that have 4 work station is the best result because the result of 4 station can fulfill capacity of production ( 39 unit ) with the run time 8 hours. With many implementation theory which has been applied, only one has proven a best optimization, that used Ant Colony Algorithm. This implementation has been applied for head lamp product, given 91.26% degree of line efficiency and 8.74% degree of balance delay. This situation has given a good improvement, if we had compared by a zero condition which seeing 76.29% degree of line efficiency and 23.71% degree of balance delay. Hence by finding a better line efficiency on assembly line, then would be a more efficiently of resources which is used, so the company productivity, actually could be developing.
