This research aims to explore : (1) the relationship between the form of social support given by a husband and the level of stress experienced by his pregnant wife, (2) the relationship between the number of interaction between a husband and his wife with the stress level of his pregnant wife. Forty six pregnant women in central Java town and Yogyakarta were participated in this research, selecting using accidental sampling technique. Questionnaires were used, including Social Support Scale and Stress Pregnant Women Scale. The result shows a positive relationship between the form of social support given by a husband and the level of stress experienced by his pregnant wife (r=0,298, p<0,05). However, the relationship between the number of interaction between a husband and his wife the level of stress of his pregnant wife was not observed in this research (r=-0,109, p>0,05).
