If there ever was a year of new beginnings at APA, it was 1992. The staff began 1992 by packing and moving APA's corporate baggage from three different locations and consolidating operations in the new headquarters building next to Union Station on Capitol Hill. Hardly unpacked and settled into their new home, had APA staff begun intense preparations for our centennial celebration. August came, and the Centennial activities at the 100th Annual Convention were indeed a celebration that made us all proud to be a part of psychology. Then in the fall of 1992, the first consolidated board and committee meetings were held in Washington---'a concept originated by Chief Executive Officer Raymond D. Fowler, PhD, and operational by Deputy Chief Executive Officer Michael Honaker, PhD.
