HDI Indonesia position ranks (2009) at 111 out of 182 countries which is significant indication of the poverty of the vast majority of Indonesia families. Women activities in business are a positive solution to exit from the poverty. This study uses descriptive analyzes to female members of cooperatives, which aims to describing the values dimension of entrepreneurship. Samples are purposively selected from 5 Cooperatives in Bojonegoro located in East Java. The study explains that the successful efforts towards family welfare depend on the power of 3 characters that had been internalized by the respondents, namely a) the personality character b) the managerial character and c) the agent of change character. These characters strengthen the premise that characteristic of respondents straight related to the level of family welfare. Although personality traits more dominant, but in the whole entrepreneurial characteristics of respondents reflect the empowerment of women in public sphere.
