XYZ is a company that operates in distribution that distributes stationary products such as ballpoint, markers, and other various types and models. With this varieties of products makes employees who handle orders from customers often feel overwhelmed because a lot of orders with the details of the various specifications. When entering the customer's order often takes a long time because the desired item is not necessarily available in warehouse. Handling orders are less nimble become an obstacle in this company, as well as in determining the purchase of goods returned. We have good data collection systems, customers, suppliers, and preparing reports are still done manually and using the stock sheet so that often happened mistake in recording the inventory and records are tucked away so that the employee must find the code items to be inputted in the record book of all goods sold. Writing the final project is based on the symptoms and problems, so the authors propose the design of management information systems and decision support orders in the purchasing of goods FAST methodological approach to assist decision makers to determine a systematic order handling that helps companies provide faster service and regularly include order preparation, order transmittal, order input, order filling, and order status reporting.
