Quality control is one of the compulsory modules on the S1 Industrial Engineering curriculum at Atma Jaya University in Jakarta a few other university. But until nowadays, a mandatory book that used by students and lecture’s handouts for teaching and learning process only available in English language because there is still unavailable in Indonesian language. The reason for the needed of Indonesian language quality control textbook is to facilitate the learning process more purposeful in accordance with the curriculum and then nowadays the English textbook is still too broad in scope for the learning level of S1. Based on conjoint analysis, the most important factor for customer to choose quality control book is price, followed by promotion, then product and the last one is place. Also still based on conjoint analysis that can be seen the most needed attribute level from attribute that have been described. From the crosstab analysis result we can found the relationship between the respondents research data and then from competitor analysis results the strengths and weaknesses of competitors. In preparing the marketing mix strategy for quality control textbook, the needed data is the results from conjoint analysis, crosstab analysis and competitor analysis. With this marketing mix strategy, the author expect this book can be effectively used by students for S1 Industrial Engineering program study. |
