Indirectly, the good performance of a hospital service will be able to increase the income of the hospital. Hospital management has a big share in the hospital service performance. One of crucial component in the hospital management is medicines and medical devices procurements that are the responsibility of the Hospital Pharmacy Installation. It becaused an average of nearly 40% of the expenditure items in the hospital are for drugs and medical devices. There are two main problem of drug’s supplies in the hospital, which are the large number of drugs and demand fluctuations that are not easily predictable. Demand character of drugs in hospitals is divided into two, lumpy and not lumpy. Lumpy pattern is described as an irregular pattern and discontinuous, in which a large number of requests needed at a time and little or not at all at other times. The current drugs procurement planning system that owned by IFRS Atma Jaya Hospital can not accommodate the problems that exist, thus causing inventory stock out or overload inventory. Drug’s stock out and insufficient drug's stocks cause everyday sudden purchase, which can be purchased from PBF or nearby pharmacy to cover patient’s need. Surely, these things cause profit loss for the company. The goal of this research is to improve the company procurement planning system by proposing a model that consists of demand forecasting with the best accuracy and the lead time between procurement (T), safety stock (SS), maximum inventory level (M) with periodical review model joint ordering case. The whole process of the model in this research will be adopted into an application program. It is expected that the result of application programs can be adaptively used for procurement planning at Atma Jaya IFRS with the support of renewable or adjustable input based on conditions. This application program will make procurement planning human resources more efficient. From the 32 samples studied, the proposed system can improve the service level by an average of 14.911% when compared with the company's current service level which is 85%. The increment of the additional service level if converted into an additional profit when the service level is reached, thoose sample may provide additional profit per year over Rp. 6.843.380,-. We can conclude that the proposed system can certify the drugs availability, make human resources more efficient and contribute more profit for the company, so it should be considered tobe applied in the company.
