Performance appraisals is a process to evaluate and assess employee performance. Performance appraisals is generally based upon three aspects of assessment, namely assessment based on the trait (Trait-Based), behavior (Behavior Based), and result (Result Based). Indonesia Atma Jaya Catholic University is also implementing the performance appraisals system for lecturers to assess the work performance of each lecturer. Performance appraisals is divided into two, namely the assessment automatically by the system and manually by the rater assessment. The purpose of this performance appraisals is to evaluate the performance of duties of lecturers and the calculation of the amount of incentives received by faculty based on the results of assessment. Performance appraisals are performed by the system related to the measurable aspects of assessment, namely: the number of hours worked, number of absences / leave, and the number of Warning Letter (SP) is accepted. While the assessment conducted by the assessor related to the behavior shown in the implementation of activities Tridharma lecturers of Higher Education and other supporting activities. In the scoring system currently used to manually assessment is difficult because these assessments tend to be subjective and difficult to measure. Therefore carried out the design of the proposed assessment system to complete the scoring system in use today. The design of the proposed system is done by making the proposal rating form that is more measurable and objective. The appraisals is based on a standard assessment of the National Agency for Higher Education Accreditation (BANPT) and Workload Assessment Lecturer (BKD). The results of performance appraisals with the proposed form will serve as a lecturer and performance evaluation materials are used as an incentive factor calculation. |
