PT. Digital Media Technology engaged in manufacturing to produce pieces of CD and DVD. Scheduling system which applied today is based on the nearest due date and the number of master data provided to the company. Based on data, there are tardiness in parts of the production . If this problem can not handled, loss especially in matters of financially could arise because the issue. The recommendation of scheduling system to solve the companies problem is with using Immune Genetic Algorithm. In this case , this research trying to modify the stages of immunization according to the companies condition, to provide the faster results, improve immunity, and reduce the occurrence of degeneration. The order of processing the selected products are based on the scheduling criteria or functionality objectives to be achieved such as minimize value of mean flow time and the mean tardiness. The recommendation of scheduling, is built with form of applications scheduling program by using Microsoft Visual Studio C # 2008. The collected data for this study case is occurs in July 2011 . Based on calculations by using Immune Genetic Algorithm were obtained an average percentage decrease in the mean flow time of 37,079% and for the mean tardiness of 37,297%. Based on a comparison of the current scheduling system with the recommendation of scheduling system, the companies can reduce the risk of loss if the recommendation of scheduling system could be implemented. the recommendation of scheduling system proved better than the system that made by the company today. |
