CV. INDOMAKMUR JAYARAYA is a industrial manufacturing which producing shampoo with brand GO STREET. Level of demand to product shampoo is high enough, because the price is competiting with another brand of shampoo. To create shampoo, CV. INDOMAKMUR JAYARAYA is using a mixer machine which have a 500 kg capacities. But, mixer machine with 500 kg capacities has a number of problem. The problems are while mixing the shampoo, mixer machine created a thick bubbles (the high is about 20 cm). With thickness of that buble, after finishing the process, shampoo must be keep away about one day to clean the bubles and packing the shampoo. The bubbles create another problem, that is a problem in processing time. The processing time is too long to produce the shampoo using mixer machine with 500 kg capacities. Beside the bubbles and processing time, another problem is mixer machine does not equipped with additional function to make processing creating the shampoo much easier. Based on the problems that have been collect, then researcher will make a research about developing a new mixer machine with 200 kg capacities, with the objectives of that development are to minimalize thickness of bubbles and minimalize the processing time. In this research, the methods which will be used are the phase of developing a product of Urlich, that have six phase, they are planning phase, developing concepts phase, system level development phase, detail level development phase, testing a product and conduct first production. In this research, product development will only be done in testing product phase. Mixer machine with 200 kg capacity that has been finished, will undone a test. Test which will be done are test about production time and test about thickness of bubbles while producing the shampoo. the test result will be done with statistical test to find out if the processing time and thickness of bubbles using the mixer machine with capacity 200 kg both smaller than mixer machine eith capacity 500 kg. The statistic test result show that mixer machine with 200 kg capacity has a smaller processing time and thickness of bubbles than mixer machine with 500 kg capacity, which production time decrease about 33,92% and thickness of bubbles decrease also about 44,22%. |
