Assertive behavior is the ability to communicate clearly in terms of emotional expression, feeling, throught, desire and a need for openess, accuracy, decisiveness, and honesty. This study aims at discovering the relationship between assertive behavior ability with the commitment to the oaths in celibacy life. Subjects were 40 nuns. The instruments were rating scale for measuring the variable of assertive behavior ability and an attitude scale for measuring the commitment to celibacy life. Results showed that there was a significant and positive correlation between these two variables.
