Abstract
Music is an inherent component in people's lives everyday. Music, either a song or as an accompaniment instrument, widely used as background during the learning process. New information received in the learning process will be processed into a form that can be remembered that so-called long-term memory. Several studies have found that music can affect memory consolidation process, thereby starting the studies performed by using music as a means of memory formation. The results of these studies provide evidence that music can affect the level of arousal, increase atention, creating a positive mood, lowering anxiety levels, and may induce neuroregenesis process of individual. And all these things are the factors that may effect consolidation in the formation of long term memory.
