One way of managing organizational culture that is by increasing the application of organizational culture. With the increasing application of organizational culture within a company, employees can think and act in accordance with the vision, mission and corporate objectives so that corporate objectives can be achieved. In an effort to see the picture of the implementation of organizational culture then steps must be done is to conduct an audit organization's culture. Audit organizational culture serves to capture the gap between cultural ideal and actual culture. Audit culture is the measurement of employee perceptions that include various elements within the company (Fletcher, Ben & Jones, Fiona, 1992). Form of auditing the organization's culture varies depending on the needs of the company. This is usually done through questionnaires, surveys and focus group discussions or through workshops (Armstrong, 2003). According to Manuela Pardo-del-Val et.al (2006), organizational culture audit objective was to explain and describe the current state of organizational culture. The aim of this study was to map the employee understanding of the values PT.X. Results of mapping organizational culture values will be the basis for socialization program organizational culture PT. X. The subject of this study is 49 employees of PT. X. Audit organization's culture is measured using the comprehension questionnaires and the behavior questionnaire derived from five basic values of PT. X. Data analysis was based on the index of comprehension and index of behavior that has range one to four. The results of this study indicate that the level of understanding, employees PT.X still not able to associate an understanding of basic concepts of the values of PT. X into their daily work, while the level of conduct, employees of PT. X has been able to demonstrate appropriate behaviors cultural values of PT. X and company standards without having to constantly watched. |
