In such socialism, Polanyi believes, market will be conducted according to the principle of reproduction and reciprocity. In this moral resistance against market and profit system, however, the economic activity can be directed into the wrong direction if that kind of socialism eliminates human freedom. This critical tone has been set by Michael Polanyi, his own brother. It is only on the human freedom that economic system should be based.
