| In various studies, it is argued that leadership and working environment are two important factors influencing performance. The purpose of the research is to investigate the influence of leadership and working environment on employees' performance at the National Board for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers (BNP2TKI). BNP2TKI is an Indonesian Governmental Organization, established in 2006, mandated as the government agent for placement and protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers. The study sample consisted of 60 individuals working as BNP2TKI employee. Data were collected by random sampling technique in order to meet the representation of each level of organization structure. The survey instrument is consisted of three sets of questionaire with five point Likert scale. The research data are analysed by using Multiple Regression Analysis; to test the level cf significance and the impact of both variables Leadership (Xi) and Working Environment (X2) jointly on the Performance variables (Y). Results indicated that leadership and working environtment jointly has a significant and positive effect on performance. |
