The purpose of this research is to create mathematical equations of the relationship between maximum oxygen consumption with heart rate on each level of vital capacity. Respondents used for this study were men aged 19-22 years. Respondents totaled 45 people, where 30 people are used to create equations and 15 people are used to validate the equation. The initial phase of 45 respondents conducted an experiment to find the value of vital capacity. Grouping of vital capacity do afterwards with the division of vital capacity in the group <2600cc, 2600cc - 3000cc, and> 3000cc. 30 respondents rated the physical treatment ran on a treadmill to find the value of oxygen consumption and heart rate for 6 minutes which is divided into 3 phases, walk, jog, and sprint. 15 respondents did the same experiment for the results then used to test the model that was obtained. Oxygen consumption equation is made using a simple linear equation. Validation test results indicate that there is similarity of variance values of oxygen consumption resulting from manual measurement to the value of oxygen consumption resulting from a mathematical equation. Correlation relationship between oxygen consumption and heart rate has a value of R-Sqr =88.4%. |
