When in the West Rererence is made to lifestyle one asumes on the whole a freedom of choice based upeo knowledge of the basic existence of social/ health-are services and upon the economic mean of a family unit. This is a choice which in evolved countries adults can exercise freely and responsibly: in order to improve the contiditions of personal health and their own children, parents can choose, if they want a healthy and balanded alimentation, not to smoke or to consume alcoholic beveranges, to practice sport and to engage in physical exercise, to enjoy necessary rest, and to intervene to prevent illness wiht the support of health care which in most cases is free
