| Program Study S1 Industrial Engineering at Atma Jaya Catholic University has courses that teach how to control the quality of a product where the product is able to meet the needs and wishes of the user in this case was the students and provide benefits to the company that is subject Quality Control. To support the lectures for a nice, competent, it required textbook as learning media. This textbook will provide a book that has a physical design in accordance with the wishes and needs of user accompanied the Indonesianspeaking style that until now there is no market. For this development, it takes planning and overall product development. Planning and product development of this textbook using the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), namely the product planning stage. Based on product planning matrix, there are 6 needs to be developed which cover logo’s quality, not easily torn and crumpled, the quality of binding, using the Indonesian language is straightforward, has a curriculum of lectures, book prices reasonable. While the technical specifications of the selected associated with the need to be developed is a variation of color, quality of ingredients, cover design, binding design means, type of material, dimensional form, the scope of the book, the kind of language, way of writing, the curriculum is used, the type of matter, material prices. There are 2 concepts that deserve to be developed is the concept of 1 and 5. However, based on several considerations, the selected concept is the concept of 5 (value: 3.63). The concept of five selected based on consideration of the marketing research results and in terms of cost which is more economical with a quality product. Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for Quality Control textbook is Rp. 101750, -/unit, the price consists of the initial purchase cost of materials, print services, bindery services and administration costs for permits ISBN with projected profits of 32%. However, administrative costs for permit ISBN only 1 time for 1 titles. Therefore, if calculated from the cost of printing, then the price is around Rp. 75000,- with projected profits of 50% greater than the specified minimum prize. |
