Abstract
The application of temperature controlling can be found in many fields. The purpose of this final assignment is that the result of temperature in furnace can be set and presented in computer. This system exploits ability of microcontroller in data aquisition and taking decision. The range of emperature which can be controlled in this system up to 1000o Celcius. The benefits of this research is to facilitate the heat treatment process that requires holding time and continuous heating. By using the ADC, temperature data from thermocouples converted from analog data into digital data through the first signal conditioning, while the means for the viewer is a PC using borland delphi 6 program with a microcontroller to process and manage performance data. Thus the value of output temperature can be displayed on the PC in form of numbers (characters).
