Problems with student' grammar in spoken and written language have become the concern for a long time. Many teachers complain about their students' use of grammar. Eve though students have gone through many Structure classes, their written language turns out to consist of many basic grammatical mistakes. This study was done to discuss the following questions: 1) What are the student's opinions about their awareness of the grammar they use in their writing? 2) Do the students of semester VI have a good awareness of the grammar they use in their writing? 3) What can be done to improve students' awareness and responsibility of the grammar they use in their assignments?
