Research to find the optimum performance of the rocket is done by using one stage of RX-320 rocket with angle of elevation varied from 50 degrees up to 80 degrees. The propellant performance is use of the HTPB based. The static test of rocket is 598 kg with the propellant weight of 254 kg get the thrust of 3500 kgf, the burning time is 13 seconds. Through the flight test has been found the maximum presentation of rocket with some angle of elevations. The maximum range of distance is reach 45.223 km with angle of elevation 65 degrees, the maximum height is reach 27.595 km with angle of elevation is 80 degrees, the maximum velocity is reach 2.531 mach with angle of elevation 50 degrees and the maximum time of flying is reach 160 seconds with angle of elevation 80 degrees.
