Abstract
Malcolm baldrige is a certification system that can assess the performance of the overall performance university management. This measurement can be determined by Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA). The purpose of this study was to measure students? perception about education quality in Atma Jaya University. Criteria regarding the education provided by Malcolm Baldrige will be used to know about what criteria which most influential in determined how good the education quality and expected to be achieved with these results, the University of Atma Jaya can improve factors that still not good or maintain the high quality criteria that have been good.
The output expected from this research is which criteria are most influential to the quality of education and the criteria that should be corrected to improve the quality of education. This research was conducted for five faculties at the University of Atma Jaya, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Science Teaching and Education, and the entire faculty for multivariate testing. The sample used in this study were active students with a total 355 people. The program used in this study using SPSS software.
This study had three tests, namely univariate tests, bivariate tests and multivariate tests. Univariate test done to see the spread of data based on answers given in questionnaire respondents, so it can be seen whether the data really spread or not. Bivariate test done to see the relationship between the individual - each with Malcolm Baldrige criteria for quality education, so that we can know what criteria that have an influence on the quality of education. While the multivariate test done to see the relationship between the quality of education with all the Malcolm Baldrige criteria simultaneously, so that can know which criteria have the strongest relationship.
