Traffic accidents often occur on the highway resulting from traffic facilities that are less good. Signs - traffic signs are very important as an information / guidance for motorists. There are various inefficiencies that occur, this ineffectiveness in terms of visibility, legibity and readibility. This study aims to obtain a state signs - traffic signs in Jakarta, especially in primary arterial road. Another goal of this research is to provide authorities with information relating to the problem signs - traffic signs is to improve regional transportation services - areas that have a lot of improvement in the problem signs - traffic signs this. The study addressed to all signs - traffic signs in Jakarta especially in primary arterial road. The data was collected to give an assessment of the signs - traffic signs are based on the surrounding environment, the placement of signs, the physical condition of signs, pole signs, and the condition of the contents of the beacon. Data collection was also done on 100 respondents riders who live in Jakarta especially those residing or working in the vicinity of primary arterial road.
