Organization is the basic element in a company where in the organization needed a co-operation between its parts. PT. Multi Megah Mandiri, which uses a system of fungsional organizations with a hierarchical structure is less efficient in carrying out its manufacturing activities such as production of socks. In this thesis the author conducted research by designing and implementing organizational team-based at the company. Then the author will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of team-based organizations, and to take a conclusions whether team-based organizational structure is better than the beginning of the organization listed in the company. The study was conducted with observations on purchasing division in employee performance using the assessment-form based on indicators that have gotten from an interview to purchasing division manager, then the results will be used for data processing. Some indicator that use in this research give a positive effect if it compared with before organization. This indicators are a division must have a friendly leader (1.5 point), Organization must support the employee become more critical (1.22 point), organization make the employee have a good relation each other (1.14 point), Organization must support company performance in a better condition (0.5 point), and organization must have an effective employee (0.32 point). From all of the research, the authors conclude that the team-based organizations will provide excellence in the performance of a company than the employees must work individually. Allthough have to go through a long process and a big investment, but the success will create a great result. |
