That a company able to acquire advantages globally, thus the company must be able to accomplish every work better in term of producing high quality goods and services with reasonable and competitive quality. One of methods to measure and improve performances of a company is by means of Malcolm
Baldrige.
On this final assignment, assessment was consummated on performances of Asurance Bumiputera by means of reference Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Asurance Bumiputera was one of asurances in Indonesia. Then based on the obtained values, the writer contributed improvement teh performance in all aspects.
The recommendation was provided for items on category of Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award that had assessment percentage 50% of each item maximum values.
Based on analysis and assessment on performances of Asurance Bumiputera by means Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award that had been performed by the writer, the company attained a value of 511,5. The value accounted
for 55% of the obtainable total points are 930. That is why Asurance Bumiputera could be categorized company under a condition of “ Strong Quality Iplementation”, such condition described that the company had a systematic and reliable
management class, effective approaches as well as being spread out throughout various important areas in the organization. Thus the results that the company had was good toward excellent ones in various important areas. Sustainable improvement had been carried out by the organization. |
