Abstract
The purpose of this study is to design and create an software that can do the calculations of standard time with work sampling method. Calculation
of standard time using a software will certainly be easier to use and requires relatively shorter time than by manual calculation. In addition, the
application program is expected to be used as one means of assessment in the practicum in the lab. PSK & E , so the application program that is designed to support educational activities as well as assessment criteria. In making this application program conducted 4 main stages, namely the systems planning, systems analysis, systems design, and the testing of application program, which based on the SDLC (Software Development and Life Cycle). The software is divided into two
main parts: observation data and summarized data that can calculate the percentage of the working element, test the adequacy and uniformity of data, calculate cycle time, determine value of performance ratings and allowances, calculate normal and standard time, calculate the new level of accuracy, and calculate the work load. The
software test thas been done to the 20 people made both personal and group of respondents to the granting of a matter of work sampling method for both summarized and observation data. Through test performed the feedback obtained results that show good value that describes the software meets user needs.
