Abstract
Roof truss from composite with C-shape fibrebeam (125 mm x 50 mm x 20 mm x 7 mm) trademark is used as roofsheets’ frame. Fibrebeam as structural elements of buildings will be analyzed from the capability of certain loads. Characterization of mechanical properties include tensile strength according to ASTM D638, flexural test according to ASTM D790, impact test according to ASTM D 6110, physical properties like fire resistance test according to ASTM D635 and ASTM D3801 with density calculations. Modeling of fibrebeam is performed using CATIA V5R18 with human loading model based on AS 4040.1 and the wind pressure based on ASTM D3161. Failure of fibrebeam will be judged by the stress and deflection parameters . From the modeling of fibrebeam, it considered safe against human loading model based on AS 4040.1 and the wind pressure based on ASTM D3161.
