Abstract
Testing a new design of a workplace and product by using a real prototype is not efficient anymore as it is costly and time consuming. Based on this consideration, people began to develop the DHM (digital human modelling) that can visualize the design in three-dimensional form.
MannequinPRO is one of the digital human modeling software which displays human model in three-dimensional mannequin.
The usage of DHM software in visualizing the design in Indonesia, especially in Atma Jaya University is still very uncommon. Therefore, the aim of this research is to design a software module equipped with MannequinPRO 10.2’s manual book. The design of the testing module is instigated by developing initial experimental module and manual book,
followed by the Module testing. The module testings consist of three tests with 23 repondents. The result of the testings would be used to improve the
manual book and the module. Besides, statistical time estimation would also be run during the testing. This estimation would be used to allocate
MannequinPRO 10.2 module practical time. The Total approximation of the practical time is around 3 hours, which consists of three tasks. They are
pre-test period, report explanation and software testing.
