It is based on the manufacturing industry are still many who do not provide a comfortable workplace for employees. This study used 400 samples of manufacturing workers who are spread throughout Greater Jakarta. Data collection was performed at the manufacturing industry with small and medium scale enterprises. Data were collected by using a form of identity data sheets and measuring body dimensions of workers in a sitting position data sheets and measurement of environmental intermediary data sheets. This research consisted of 217 male manufacturing workers and 183 female manufacturing worker data. The data is processed by testing the suitability and the average test using software SPSS 17. Average test used to determine the number of recommendations needed to be done. The output of this research is a decision to give the recommendation criteria workplace in accordance with the characteristics of each industry. Output is obtained from the data processing that have been collected. The result of the recommendations that have been given can be said to apply to the manufacturing of small and medium scale.
