A test was conducted on 138 highschool students and 62 college students who are majoring or minoring in physics teaching. In which they were asked to pick the right answer out of five, given options about a vertically moving ball. They were also asked to give the reason(s) of their choice. The result of this test replicates similar ones on misconceptions, which have been done by quite a few researchers in Europe, Amerika, and Australia in recent years.
