This is an outcome ofa survey of the profile of GOLKAR and PPP voters in two Javanese villages during the 1982 General Election in Indonesia. This survey discovered, among others, that GOLKAR's voters are generally young, well educated, and relatively new comers to the area under study. This survey also found out certain contrast between the voters in Pundung (one village close to the city) and their counterparts in Ruwat (the other village away from the city). Due to the small amount of samples studied in this survey, the findings of this survey are hypothetical in nature.
