The Decree of Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 004 year 2003 on Policy and Strategy of Decentralization in Health Sector, states that one of the strategic targets is effort to organize the health menegement in the decentralization era. One key step is to develop maintenance subsystem and to optimally utilize medical equipment. In order to support this effort, we have conducted a study of providers'a perspectives in the hospital on medical equipments.
