Abstract
The textbooks influence the language teaching and play an important role for the teachers and the students in the teaching-learning process because it provides materials and leads students to achieve better result. According to Tomlinson (1998), most people associate the term ‘language-learning materials’ with coursebooks because that has been their main experience of using materials. It shows that the coursebooks help teachers to convey materials for their teaching activities. Byrd (2001) suggests that the curriculum and the materials in textbook must be fit between them. Thus, teachers should decide the books that they want to use in their class, because teachers have to distinguish the lesson materials from students’ level.
