The development of Science and Technology is moving fast. The advantage of the science and technology should be supported by the quality of human resources, good product activities, community's attitude, and transparency and also the intermediation and synergy in order to increase the national energy defense. The coordination with other institution and government supported is needed to achieve the goal successfully. The purpose of this article is to describe the advantage of the science and technology to increase the national energy defense. Data collected from library research and other related sources and analyzed descriptively based on the scientific research methods. The results show that the decreasing of ability utilize the science and technology has a direct effect to the low of national energy defense and it is hoped that the result of the research can be used as an input of policy to arrange the strategy of science and technology development.
