The proses of democratization in Indonesia has being more than ten years. Within that time, there have been 320 local elections, when was first started on june 2005. The existance of local politics Basically has purposes to rise accountabilities, responsiveness in response the public need. On the contrary, in the public perspective, the society’s interests have been represented, public participation is widely open so that public accesity to the state resources also transparent. However, the expectation is currently fading: the local elections shows us only as elites interests who play roles on their own perspectives. These include the splitting of regions. The weakness of these splitting of regions mostly are caused by limited understanding on the local politics designs comprehensively. Some authorities should be regulated further to solve those inefficiecy local politics, they are; Discery authority of the governor to dismiss the local government if it is proven to violate the law, moratorium of splitting regions should be done to redirect the supervision and policy mainly for the finance policy, finance management, budget transparency and public participation; governor roles as repsentative of central government, netral & professional bureaucracy, public control over local government policy, and delegative authority should be created between central and local government.
